We're proud to be partners of the Southeastern Europe leg of the TechCrunch Meetups tour, which starts today in Sofia, Bulgaria, and will also visit Belgrade (Serbia), Zagreb (Croatia) and Ljubljana (Slovenia). The Balkans Meetup tour is organised locally by the leading regional startup tech portal Netokracija, and will feature TC's East Coast editor John Biggs.
Being a startup is as much about spirit and drive, as it is about being an upstart in technology. We’ve been there before and we’re keeping that startup spirit, that can-do attitude that defines it. It’s a key part of continuing to innovate beyond the initial stages of a business and is at the core of Infobip’s philosophy.
That's why we always try and keep an ear to the ground for the latest from the startup space, to keep advancing ourselves and support young developers who will benefit the industry through innovation. And what better place to do that other than TechCrunch meetups?
The SE Europe region has never been short of innovative, driven and tech-minded people (and Nikola Tesla is probably the first in line), so it's going to be interesting to hear startup pitches of the region's youngest and brightest.
Infobip will be at the Belgrade (2 July) and Zagreb (3 July) stops of the tour, and we’re expecting some truly great ideas. For more information on registering for the event and pitches, check out TechCrunch and Netokracija web sites. See you there!
