Infobip to offer global SMS capabilities through Cloud Elements’ Uniform API
Denver, CO – July 22, 2014 – Cloud API integration and aggregation company, Cloud Elements, today announced the availability of Infobip through their Messaging Hub API. Infobip, a global provider of mobile solutions connecting mobile network operators and enterprises through an in-house developed and operated mobile services cloud, will join leading cloud email infrastructure service, SendGrid, in offering international 1-way and 2-way SMS capabilities as a part of the Cloud Elements Messaging Hub. These popular cloud messaging services can be integrated via a single uniform application programming interface (API), allowing developers to easily access and leverage all Infobip and SendGrid services.
Cloud Elements customers will now be able to easily add international SMS capabilities to their application's email proposition. Software developers will use the same integration to send emails via SendGrid as they do to send SMS texts via Infobip - seamlessly adding another channel for their application to deliver communications to staff, customers or stakeholders. In addition, the Messaging Hub provides prebuilt interactions for applications to automate alerts via SMS texts as emails are delivered or opened by the recipient, with no additional code necessary.
“We are excited to offer an integration into leading global messaging service, Infobip, through our Messaging Hub,” said Mark Geene, CEO of Cloud Elements. “Cloud Elements’ mission is to make it easier for developers to integrate, monitor and maintain the cloud services their applications depend on. Using our uniform API, developers can now use these messaging services in a fraction of the time with a fraction of the code.”
Cloud Elements’ “one-to-many” approach allows a developer to integrate an entire category of services, such as messaging, through a single uniform API. The Messaging Hub provides a single console to provision, integrate, monitor and maintain these services, offering an integrated messaging platform that delivers seamless interaction between the leading messaging and email service providers. Available without charge, the Messaging Hub allows developers to easily provision and integrate services within their specific environments.
“Infobip is committed to making integrations into our services as simple as possible for developers,” says Massimo Cristini, Managing Director North America, Infobip. “Cloud Elements’ uniform API allows developers to start using our international capabilities and reach over 180 countries with high quality 1-way SMS. By leveraging our 2-way services in over 40 countries with local numbers or short-code connectivity, developers will be able to further engage their users. In addition to this industry-leading coverage, all developers benefit from our highly skilled 24/7 premium support free of charge to make their cloud communications as smooth as possible.”
