## Stop a journey

To stop an active journey:

1. In the [Infobip web interface](https://portal.infobip.com//), go to **Automation Studio** > **Journeys**.
2. Select the three-dots menu next to the journey and select **Stop**.

When you stop a journey, its [status](https://www.infobip.com/docs/automation-studio/journeys/manage-journeys/journey-status) changes to **Cancelled**. Participants cannot enter the journey anymore.

NOTE
If **Allow journeys to complete after journey is stopped** is enabled in [Scheduling](https://www.infobip.com/docs/automation-studio/journeys/manage-journeys/edit-and-duplicate#scheduling-settings), participants already in the journey complete it before the journey stops. The journey status shows as **Finishing** during this period.
