# Filter companies

___

Use filters to find specific company profiles based on business criteria. Customer Profiles provides basic filters for common attributes and advanced filters for [custom attributes](https://www.infobip.com/docs/customer-profiles/configuration/company-custom-attributes).

___

## Basic filters

Use basic filters to quickly find companies based on standard business attributes. The following filters are available on the left side of the Companies page:

- **Segment** - Filter by audience segment (such as enterprise, mid-market, or small business)
- **[Tags](https://www.infobip.com/docs/customer-profiles/tags)** - Filter by assigned tags that categorize companies
- **Country** - Filter by company location country
- **Region** - Filter by wider geographic area
- **Source** - Filter by how the company profile was created (web interface, API, external integration)

To apply basic filters:

1. Go to **Customer Profiles** → **Companies**.
2. Select the filter criteria from the left sidebar.
3. Select one or more values for each filter.
4. The [companies list](https://www.infobip.com/docs/customer-profiles/companies/companies-list) updates automatically to show matching results.

___

## Advanced filters

Use advanced filters to find companies based on custom attributes. Advanced filters support complex criteria with multiple conditions.

To use advanced filters:

1. Go to **Customer Profiles** → **Companies**.
2. Select **Advanced filters**.
3. Select the custom attribute you want to filter by.
4. Define the condition (equals, contains, greater than, less than).
5. Enter the value to match.
6. Add more conditions if needed.
7. Select **Apply** to view matching companies.

Note
Advanced filters use `AND` logic when multiple conditions are applied. Companies must match all conditions to appear in the results.

___

## Search companies

In addition to filters, you can search for companies by:

- **Name** - Enter the company name in the search bar
- **Domain** - Enter the company website domain

The search works in combination with applied filters to narrow results further.
