  
To manually create a person profile, follow these steps:

1. In the **Persons** page, select **Create profile**.
2. **Contact information**: Enter phone number(s) and/or email address(es).
3. **Basic information**: Add basic information like a person name, city, address, and other optional information. This is optional, but it is best to provide as much detail as possible. Select the person type: **Customer** or **Lead**. Learn about the differences in [person types](https://www.infobip.com/docs/customer-profiles/persons/person-types).
4. **Tags and custom attributes**: Add any [tags](https://www.infobip.com/docs/customer-profiles/tags) or [custom attributes](https://www.infobip.com/docs/customer-profiles/configuration/person-custom-attributes) that you want linked to this profile.
5. Select **Create person**.
