# Tags

**Tags** are labels used to group profiles based on specific features or interests. Unlike [segments](https://www.infobip.com/docs/customer-profiles/segments), tags are **static lists** that change only when tags are manually assigned or removed.

Use tags to organize and categorize your customer profiles:

- **Group profiles** - Group all profiles that have a specific tag to send targeted communication
- **Collect interaction data** - Track user interactions such as page viewed or link clicked
- **Trigger events** - Trigger Journey campaigns based on tag addition or removal
- **Segment profiles** - Categorize end users based on behavior or characteristics

You can add **multiple tags** to a **single profile**, and the **same tag** can be applied to **multiple profiles**.
