# Exchange Marketplace
___

Exchange Marketplace is Infobip's catalog of apps that extend the platform by connecting it to other systems. Publish your app here to put it in front of Infobip's global customer base, who discover and enable it from inside the products they already use every day.

Build an Exchange app to:

- **Reach new users.** Your app is discoverable in the web interface, at the point where customers are already looking for what you offer.
- **Connect Infobip to the tools you rely on.** Bridge Infobip to a CRM, a payment provider, a helpdesk, or any system you or your customers work in.
- **Get discovery and co-marketing.** Your app is listed in Exchange Marketplace and on the Infobip products page, not left for customers to find on their own.
- **Fill a gap you see.** If you use Infobip and wish a connector existed, build it, use it yourself, and optionally share it with everyone else.

Anyone can build for Exchange: third-party vendors, community developers, and Infobip teams all publish here. What qualifies an app is not who builds it but what it does: an Exchange app **connects Infobip to a third-party system**. Features that work entirely within Infobip, without connecting an outside system, are offered elsewhere on the platform.

- [Browse the marketplace](https://partners.infobip.com/exchange): discover and enable published apps.
- [Start building](https://www.infobip.com/docs/exchange-marketplace/set-up-account-access): design, develop, and publish your own app.

**At a glance:** four in-product integration points · YAML or JSON app manifest · API key or OAuth 2.0 authentication · private or public listing.

NOTE
**Looking for something else?** To add Infobip channels inside a platform you already use, such as a CRM or marketing tool, see [Integrations](https://www.infobip.com/docs/integrations). ## How building on Exchange works

- **You do not rebuild messaging.** Use integration points (bot blocks, context cards, data sync, Journey elements) so your app plugs into Infobip's products instead of reimplementing them.
- **Your app runs where the customer works.** It runs inside Infobip's own products (Automation Studio, Inbox, Customer Profiles), not as a separate destination.
- **Private or public.** Build an app for your own account only, or submit it for review to publish it to all Infobip customers.
- **Publishing is reviewed.** Before a public app goes live on the marketplace, Infobip reviews it for security and usability.

## What you can build

An app plugs into Infobip products at defined integration points. Pick where yours lives.

| Integration point | Product | What it does |
|-------------------------|------------|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| **Context card** | Inbox | Surface external data to agents inside a conversation, loaded as an iframe in the agent workspace. |
| **Full-page app** | Inbox | Add a full-page experience inside Inbox at a route you define in the manifest. |
| **Bot block** | Chatbots | Drop a custom action into a chatbot flow, with input and output attributes you declare. |
| **Journey element** | Journeys | Trigger your own workflow from a journey, then pass the result back into the customer journey. |

Two more options do not use an in-product UI:

- **Customer Profiles data sync:** keep contacts and events in step between an external platform and [Customer Profiles](https://www.infobip.com/docs/customer-profiles) using the People API. One-way, or two-way where the connector supports writing changes back.
- **Channel APIs:** send SMS, WhatsApp, Viber, and Voice from workflow and automation tools such as Zapier that call Infobip's [channel APIs](<apidocslink href="">) directly.

Bot blocks and Journey elements are built from **functions** and **actions**. A function is one request to your endpoint and its response, with the inputs and outputs you declare in the manifest. An action defines how the function looks in the product UI, for example a drop-down list of options. ## Build and publish

The path from an idea to a live app, in two steps.

1. **Build apps for Exchange:** design, develop, and test a custom app that connects your platform to Infobip products. Build for your own account (private), or continue to step 2 to publish.
   1. [Set up your account access](https://www.infobip.com/docs/exchange-marketplace/set-up-account-access)

   4. [Set up API authentication](https://www.infobip.com/docs/exchange-marketplace/authorization-oauth)
2. **[Publish to Exchange](https://www.infobip.com/docs/exchange-marketplace/list-your-app):** list your app on the marketplace so other Infobip customers can discover and install it. Public apps are reviewed by Infobip for security and usability before they go live.

## Browse and enable apps

- **Discover apps** in the [Exchange Marketplace](https://partners.infobip.com/exchange) on `partners.infobip.com`: the public catalog of every published app, with descriptions.
- **Read setup guides** in the [app catalog](https://www.infobip.com/docs/integrations/hubspot-for-people): each app page covers what it supports and how to set it up.
- **Enable apps** from [Exchange in the Infobip Portal](https://portal.infobip.com//exchange), where you activate an app for your account.
