Egypt Letter of Authorization (LOA) guidelines
Due to regulatory changes, reselling is prohibited in Egypt. Only clients with a direct Master Service Agreement (MSA) signed with Infobip Egypt are eligible to register local sender IDs. If you do not have a direct MSA with Infobip Egypt, you cannot register a local sender ID.

Registration requirements
Registration is not required for international traffic. For local traffic within Egypt, you must register your senders. Review and submit the information outlined below.

Local senders registration
Local senders operate within Egypt and target recipients located within the country.
Sender requirements
- Generic senders are strictly prohibited.
- Senders containing special characters are not supported.
- Senders that include the word "SMS" will be rejected.
- The sender name must be no longer than 11 characters.
Gather the following details as they are necessary for registering with telco, in addition to the other documents:
- Use case description
- Type of traffic
- Company name
- Company website
- Industry
To register your senders, submit the following documents and correctly complete the LOA:
- Company Commercial Registration (CR)
- Company tax card
- Delegation letter
Download the Delegation letter template and follow the guide below for completing it. Fill in the yellow highlighted fields by completely replacing each field with your information. If a field is not highlighted, do not change it.
- Date when the LOA was filled out.
- Company letterhead.
- Company name based on the Commercial Registration.
- Sender ID you want to register and representative details according to the company CR with their signature and company stamp.
- Once all requirements and documents are completed, start the Sender ID registration process in the SMS channel overview, and select the Request Sender button under Alphanumeric Sender ID. Provide the necessary details and submit the request.
