Viber use case - Loyalty Club Welcome Messages

Welcome messages for new members of your loyalty program can encourage your customers to explore new benefits of purchasing your goods or services as well as share their experience and give feedback so that you can improve your customer experience further. Use Flow to easily create and send welcome messages.

This use case shows how to create a welcome message for your new members of the loyalty club and tag them with various labels.

Steps over Web Interface

  1.  Log in to the Infobip web interface, navigate to the Moments module >CREATE FLOW>Start from Scratch.

  2. Select One-time audience and click START BUILDING.

  3. Name your campaign.


To start communicating with your customers over Viber, you must obtain and store their opt-ins.

  1. Choose your audience by selecting recipients (which members should receive a welcome message).

  2. Add the Send Viber message element, select the sender you want to use and enter the message content.

Here’s an example:

“Dear customer! Thank you for shopping with us! Check out our loyalty program details at Example.com”.

To send a Viber message with rich content (images, CTA buttons, etc.) click Show Advanced options. Since this is a promo message, select the Promotional check box.

Click CLOSE when you’re done.

  1. Add the Add Tag element.

Click Create Tag if you want to add a new one, for example in this case Loyalty Member. Once you name your new tag, it will be added in the Selected Tags section. You can use multiple tags.

  1. Click VALIDATE and then if you’ve done everything correctly, you should see a summary screen. Click LAUNCH NOW to execute your campaign.
