Managing a frustrated customer can be particularly challenging – especially when their call is queued and they’re getting more frustrated by the second waiting for an agent to pick up their call. But what if they could just get a message and pick a time an agent will call them, instead of waiting endlessly on the phone, listening to elevator music?

Scheduling support calls through SMS

With Infobip self-service portal, you can implement a system for customers to request support calls through simple text messages.

When a customer sends the message “HELP” to the designated support number, the system responds with an automated message informing the customer they would receive a call within an hour, providing an estimated time for the callback. Additionally, the message offered the option to reschedule the call by typing “RESCHEDULE.”
