Early Access is the first stage in Infobip's product lifecycle, preceding General Availability. Products and features in Early Access have completed development and release procedures but are still being refined based on real-world usage and customer feedback.

Lifecycle stages: Early Access → General Availability → Deprecated → Discontinued

What to expect

During Early Access, you can use and test the product with the understanding that it is still maturing. The product team may tweak existing features or introduce new ones based on feedback, and the service may occasionally experience performance variability compared to Generally Available products.

Early Access products and features are clearly labeled throughout the documentation.

Key considerations for integration

No backwards compatibility guarantee — APIs and features may change without the typical deprecation notice period. Build your integration with flexibility to accommodate potential changes.

Limited regional availability — Early Access products may not be available in all data center regions. Confirm availability for your region before building dependencies on the feature.

No SLOs — Service-level objectives don't apply during Early Access. Consider this when planning for production workloads that require guaranteed uptime or performance.

Full support available — Despite being in Early Access, you have access to product documentation and support channels. Your feedback during this phase directly influences the product's development toward General Availability.

Providing feedback

Customer feedback is essential during Early Access. If you encounter issues, have feature requests, or want to share observations about your use case, reach out through your usual support channels or contact Infobip Support. This input helps shape the product before it reaches General Availability.
