Welcome to the Infobip
MCP Playground

Let your AI do the talking

Beta

The Infobip MCP is a BETA environment that lets you build AI agents to interact with Infobip platform through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

It connects directly to Infobip live APIs using your free trial account and API key, allowing your agent to perform real actions like sending SMS messages, interacting with Viber, or managing user data in a controlled, production-grade environment.

No more complex integrations or digging through endless documentation. Just plug in and let your AI do the talking.

With MCP, your agent can:

Send SMS messages

Manage user accounts

Interact with Viber

Access people data

WhatsApp, Email, and more coming soon

Ready to try it?

1. Sign up for a free Infobip account to get your API key.

This gives you access to a free trial, which includes free messaging units for trying out our channels.

During the free trial, messages can only be sent to verified numbers. Learn more

2. After signing in, copy the API key from the homepage and add it to your AI agent. Then, choose your preferred channel from the list of available endpoints below, and use it with the following base URL: https://mcp.infobip.com.

Try it out with Claude Desktop

To integrate these endpoints with Claude Desktop, add the following MCP server entry to your claude_desktop_config.json file and mcp-remote will enable Claude to talk to remote Infobip MCP server.

For full setup instructions, see our step-by-step tutorial

After updating the configuration, restart Claude Desktop to apply the changes and see the new tools in the interface:

A screenshot of a chat interface with an AI assistant. The user requests help creating a Viber marketing message for a new, limited-edition organic coffee blend, made from 100% Arabica beans and roasted in small batches in Croatia. The user outlines requirements: creative language, no URLs or promotions, and use of specific phone number and sender ID. The AI responds by confirming message creation and sending to the requested number, summarizing a crafted message designed to create excitement, highlight premium quality, showcase Croatian small-batch craftsmanship, build urgency due to its limited-edition status, and use vivid flavor descriptions. The summary includes emoji usage for engagement and notes the message is queued for delivery with a specific message ID and "PENDING_ACCEPTED" status.

Here’s what a successful Viber test message looks like, including structured feedback and AI-generated suggestions based on your prompt.
