KakaoTalk Channel (formerly known as ‘Plus Friend’) is a business tool offered by KakaoTalk. It is used as a communication and marketing tool by businesses in South Korea. You can set up your KakaoTalk channel free of cost.

Technical specifications

The advantage of using KakaoTalk through standalone API is that it enables you to have a failover (opens in a new tab) in place if KakaoTalk messages do not reach your customers. You can set up other mobile channels as a fallback option to make sure that important communications are delivered to your customers if the customers are not connected to the internet or do not have the KakaoTalk app installed.
