Back-End Developer (PHP)

As a Back-End Developer, you'll be part of a small agile team responsible for creating the optimal user experience through a variety of web presentations by integrating user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic. Also, you’ll be involved in projects related to marketing automation through tools like Oracle Eloqua and will have a opportunity to work with various third-party integrations and APIs.

• You have a general overview of the best practices and current trends and you use them in everyday work,
• You acquire technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications (blogs, articles…); attending online courses and relevant meetups,
• You translate company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive web presentations,
• You collaborate with back-end developers and digital designers to improve usability,
• You test and optimize your solutions for various platforms and web browsers,
• You optimize your code for maximum performance and security.
• You deliver clean and well-documented code,

More about you:

• You have an excellent knowledge of PHP programming language,

• You have a solid knowledge of JavaScript and related frameworks,

• You have experience with managing hosting environments (cPanel or similar), including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes,

• You understand concepts of content management and you have experience with implementing at least one CMS (Wordpress or similar),

• You have basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as HTML5, and CSS3,

• You have experience with outputting data in different formats (JSON, XML),

• You have experience in using versioning environments like GIT/Github,

• You’re proficient in English and you know how to elaborate your decisions and solutions to a client in a different time zone,

• You’re meticulous and you know how to organize your time,

• You have a portfolio with at least 3 projects that you are willing to share with us (live or offline projects / projects available on Github)
