Reports and Insights
It's always important to be able to track your conversion rates for your SMS or Voice campaigns, as well as keep up with delivery, performance, and expenditure.
This is integral for you to be able to optimize flows and processes based on performance.
Delivery and Performance
Use Analyze, our reporting module for communication channels to get insights into your SMS communications.
For each report type under Analyze, you have a detailed explanation under Reports within the Analyze product documentation.
Here's an example of how to create a Detailed report SMS.
- Log in to the web interface and navigate to Analyze > REPORTS > CREATE A REPORT.
- Select which report type you need. Then set the channel to SMS, along with the services you want to include in your report.
- Use the filters to refine the information you want to include in your reports. Use the Additional Filters for more specific filtering.
- Under Options select things like in which format you want to save your report, whether to generate a unique report for an account, user, or sender, whether you would like a download link, etc.
- Hit CREATE REPORT.
Conversions and Tracking
The Infobip tracking solution automatically tracks every message sent through all Infobip solutions. Simply set the tracking parameter to SMS or Voice.
These features are set in the tracking objects in the SMS Fully-featured textual message API or Voice Fully-featured Voice message API.
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
"description": "Message sent to next instance"
As a response, you will receive a 200 OK status with message details in the response body.
"description": "Message accepted, pending for delivery."
As a response you will receive a 200 OK status with message details in the response body.
Conversion Rate Submission
When an end-user successfully performs the action after receiving an SMS or Voice message, enters a one-time PIN in your app for example, you can send that info to the Infobip reporting solution so you can measure conversion rates.
For conversion rate submission, you only need to provide the messageId received after sending the SMS or Voice message.
The messageId has to be submitted to the Infobip API endpoint as the conversion happens.
Endpoint for submitting the conversion rates:
POST /ct/1/log/end/8ef699bc-d4c6-4cf6-8d6e-9a9aa62ad93a HTTP/1.1
