AI usage
AI usage is available as an Early Access feature. To get access or learn more, contact your dedicated account manager or Support.
AI usage shows how many AI credits your account uses across AI features and the estimated cost of usage beyond your included credits. If your account does not have an included credit limit, it shows the estimated cost of all AI credits used. Use it to track your usage against your included credit limit and see when usage goes into overage. You can also find out which products use the most AI credits in a given month.
Go to Insights and Analytics → AI usage.
To view AI usage, you need the appropriate role or permission.
AI usage consists of 2 main sections:
- AI credits used - Your AI credit usage for the selected month compared to your included credit limit, and the estimated cost of overage.
- Usage by product - AI credit usage for each product and for each AI feature within a product.
How AI credits work
AI credits work as follows:
- AI usage is measured in AI credits.
- If your plan includes AI credits, you get a set number of included credits each month.
- Each account has one shared pool of AI credits. All AI features on the account use credits from this pool.
- Included credits are used first.
- When you use up your included credits, AI features continue to work. More usage is billed as overage.
- Included credits reset each month. Unused included credits do not carry over to the next month.
- The rate per AI credit depends on your contract. The page uses this rate to calculate estimated costs.
Month
Use the Month list to select the month you want to view. You can view the current month and the previous 2 months.
AI credits used
The summary shows your AI credit usage for the selected month compared to your included credit limit.

| Included credit limit | Marker on the progress bar that shows your included credit limit. The filled part of the bar shows the included credits used. The unfilled part up to the marker shows your remaining included credits. |
| Overage portion of the bar | Usage beyond your included credit limit, shown in a different color. Usage beyond the included credit limit is billed as overage. |
| Estimated overage cost | Estimated cost of the overage credits used in the selected month, for example, €123.83. The estimate is based on your overage credits and your overage rate. |
| Overage rate | Price per AI credit for overage usage, for example, €0.0135 per AI credit. The rate depends on your contract. |
| Overage credits used | Number of AI credits used beyond your included credit limit, for example, 3,000. |
When your usage stays within your included credit limit, Estimated overage cost shows €0.00 and Overage credits used shows 0.

Some accounts see a simplified summary without the progress bar and without overage values.

The page shows only products and features that your account has enabled and uses. It does not show AI features that are free of charge.
Total AI credits used by product [#total-ai-credits-used-by-product-usage-by-product]
Total AI credits used by product is a horizontal bar chart with one bar for each product. Use it to compare AI credit usage across products at a glance.
Product usage breakdown [#product-usage-breakdown-usage-by-product]
Product usage breakdown is a table that lists AI credit usage for each product.

| Product | Product that used AI credits. Expand a product row to see the AI credits used by each AI feature in that product. |
| Credits used | Number of AI credits the product used in the selected month. |
To sort the table, select the sort icon next to a column name.
Data accuracy
The values on the AI usage page give you an overview of your AI credit usage for the selected month. Usage totals and costs on the page are estimates. They are not final invoice data and can differ from the amounts on your final invoice.
