Performance reports

Performance reports give you aggregated delivery and engagement data across your messaging and email channels: delivery rates, traffic volumes, click activity, and error breakdowns, in a single exportable file.

Use performance reports when you need to:

  • Analyze delivery success rates by country, channel, network, or account
  • Track traffic volumes and trends over a selected period
  • Report on click engagement across shortened URLs
  • Identify delivery error patterns for troubleshooting

For message-level detail, use Communication reports or Detailed reports. For programmatic access to the same aggregated data, see Metrics API.

Access and availability

Performance reports require the Account Manager or Analyze Manager role. See account settings for role management.

With this role, you can view data for your account and related sub-accounts. If you log in as a sub-account, you see only your own account data.

For retention and full data availability details, see Reporting overview.

Coverage

Performance reports cover the following channels and services:

NOTEVoice and Video is not available in Performance reports. For Voice and Video metrics, use the Analyze dashboard or the Metrics API.

Available metrics

Performance reports are organized around pre-built metric views. Each view combines a metric with a grouping dimension. Application and entity dimensions are available in the report output for multitenant customers. Filtering by application or entity is not supported.

Create a performance report

  1. In the web interface, go to Analyze > Reports.
  2. Under Performance reports, select Performance reports, and then select Create report.
  3. In the Metrics section, select the metric views you want to include.
  4. In the Channels section, all channels are selected by default. Deselect any that are not relevant.
  5. In the Period and schedule section:
    • Select a date range.
    • Choose between a one-time or recurring report.
  6. In the Filters section, optionally narrow down results. See Available filters.
  7. In the Options section:
    • File format: Select .xlsx or .csv.
    • Direct link: Choose whether to generate a shareable link to the report. Anyone with the link can download the report. The link is valid until the report status changes to Expired.
    • External server: Select a server configuration to automatically upload the report after generation. See Configure data export.
    • Recipients: Enter the email addresses to send the report to.
  8. Select Generate.
IMPORTANTThe Direct link option is not enabled by default and is available only on request. Contact Support to enable it.

Report generation runs in the background. When the report is ready, its status changes to Ready and recipients receive the file by email if you configured email delivery.

Find your report in the Reports list. For the actions available from the three-dot menu, status definitions, and what to do when a report fails or expires, see Manage reports.

NOTEIf you cannot access performance reports, verify you have the Account manager or Analyze Manager role. If your role is correct but access is still unavailable, contact your account manager. For Failed, Stopped, or Expired reports, see Manage reports.
