Structure of terms 

The agreement is between us and the person who completes the relevant event online registration form (“you” or “your”). Your agreement with us consists of: 

• Part A (Our relationship with you); 

• Part B (General terms for all participants); 

These Terms include and incorporate by reference the Terms and conditions to the extent including you through our website or complete registration and attendance at the event. 

Your agreement with us 

You should read this document carefully. These Terms govern your online registration, attendance at and/or participation at the event. By registering for the event, you agree that you have read and accepted these Terms and agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not wish to be bound by these Terms, please do not register, attend or participate in the Event.

Registering on behalf of another 

If you are registering on behalf of another person, it is your obligation to make sure that the person attending is aware of these Terms and accepts them. By completing and submitting the registration form you are representing and guarantee that you have made the person attending aware of these Terms and that they have accepted these Terms. 

Changes to this policy 

These Terms apply to you from the date of publishing and until these Terms are superseded by a new version. We may update these Terms at any time for legal or regulatory reasons, or to reflect changes in our services or business practices. Any amended Terms will be posted on here.

Part B – General Terms for All Participants 

Admittance to Events 

We, in our sole discretion, and without any liability or obligation, reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any individual from the Event if we reasonably determine that they: 

• Are disrupting or have the potential to disrupt, hinder, or cause a nuisance to the Event or others’ enjoyment; 

• Pose a security or health & safety risk to anyone at the Event; or 

• Fail to comply with these Terms or applicable laws. 

By attending the Event, you agree to follow all relevant laws and these Terms. 

Changes or Cancellation of an Event 

We strive to ensure the accuracy of Event details such as programmes, speakers, topics, and venues. However, unforeseen circumstances may require us to make changes, including substitutions, alterations, postponements, or cancellations. 

We will notify you of any significant changes as soon as reasonably possible via our website. 

In the unlikely event the Event is postponed or cancelled, we are not liable for any expenses, damages, or losses incurred by you as a result. 

Photography, Audio, and Video Recording 

The use of photographic, audio, video, or other recording equipment at the Event is strictly prohibited unless explicitly approved by us in writing prior to the Event. Unauthorized use may result in immediate removal from the Event without compensation. 

By attending the Event, you acknowledge and agree that the Event, or parts of it, may be photographed, recorded, or broadcast by us or our authorized partners. You grant us and any third party licensed by us the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, distribute, and publicly display your image, likeness, name, voice, and statements in any media format now known or developed in the future, for any lawful purpose related to the Event, including promotional purposes, without further approval or compensation to you. 

We reserve the right to enforce these rules on-site, including requesting the deletion of unauthorized recordings or taking appropriate action against violators. 

Your Attendance at the Event 

• Special Access Requirements: Please inform us of any specific access needs during booking. We are not responsible for unmet requirements that were not communicated in advance. 

• Visa & Travel Arrangements: You are responsible for obtaining the necessary visas and travel documents to attend the Event. All costs, fees, and any other expenses related to obtaining a visa are solely your responsibility. To avoid delays or complications, we strongly recommend that you initiate your visa application well in advance of the Event. If your visa is issued later than expected and the cost of flights has significantly increased, you will be responsible for covering the additional flight costs. If you fail to secure the required visa at least 20 days before the Event, we reserve the right to cancel your participation. In such cases, no refunds or compensation will be provided for any associated costs or expenses. We will make reasonable efforts to support your visa application by providing official Event documentation or letters of invitation where necessary. However, the decision to grant a visa lies solely with the issuing authorities, and we accept no liability for rejected applications or delayed processing. 

• Insurance: Ensure you have appropriate insurance for your attendance. We are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss unless caused by our negligence. 

• Behavior: Conduct yourself respectfully during the Event. Offensive, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior may result in your removal. Soliciting business without permission is also prohibited. 

Accommodation & Travel 

We will cover accommodation and travel costs and related expenses in line with the details provided on our website and your company’s compliance policies.  

Only the items explicitly mentioned on the website will be covered by us, and any costs not listed—including those related to the Event or additional costs such as extended stays or companions —will remain your responsibility.  

We are not liable for any expenses you incur that are not expressly covered on our website.  

Participant Commitments 

To ensure a valuable and productive Event, participants are expected to: 

• Comply with their employer’s policies, including anti-bribery and corruption rules. 

• Attend at least 75% of the scheduled activities. 

• Actively contribute to knowledge-sharing, including pre-event surveys, event discussions, and post-event feedback. 

Intellectual Property Rights 

All intellectual property rights related to the Event, including its content, materials, branding, and recordings, are owned by us, our affiliates, or the Event sponsors and speakers. These rights are protected by applicable laws and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent from us. 

By attending the Event, you acknowledge that no ownership or licensing rights to any intellectual property are granted to you. You agree not to reproduce, modify, or distribute any Event materials or content for commercial purposes without our explicit written permission. 

Warranties 

We make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding any aspect of the Event, including its content, materials, speakers, or outcomes. The Event is provided on an “as is” basis, and you acknowledge that participation is at your sole discretion and risk. 

You agree that we do not warrant or guarantee: 

• The accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any materials or information shared during the Event. 

• That the Event will meet your expectations or deliver any specific results. 

• That the Event will be uninterrupted, error-free, or immune from unforeseen circumstances. 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, conditions, or representations, whether express or implied, including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. 

You acknowledge that any reliance on Event content, materials, or advice is solely at your own risk, and we shall not be liable for any loss arising from such reliance. 

Limitation of Liability 

• Speaker Views: Opinions expressed by speakers are their own, and we are not liable for any advice or views shared during the Event. 

• Errors: We are not liable for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in Event-related materials. 

• Losses: We are not responsible for incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or business. 

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or other liabilities that cannot be excluded by law.  

Indemnity 

You agree to indemnify us and our partners against any claims, damages, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your actions during the Event.

Force Majeure 

We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, such as pandemics, natural disasters, extreme weather, acts of terrorism, or compliance with laws. 

Governing Law and Jurisdiction 

These Terms are governed by the laws of Croatia, and disputes shall be resolved in Croatian courts. However, we may seek legal remedies in other jurisdictions if necessary. 

Final Terms 

• These Terms and the accompanying Privacy Policy represent the entire agreement between us and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral, related to the subject matter of this Event.  

• By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you have not relied on any representation, understanding, or agreement not expressly included herein.  

• If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining Terms remain valid. 

• Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to create an agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between us and you.  

• Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right. 

• You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. 

These Terms are binding in English, with translations provided for convenience only.
