As 2013 draws to a close, we at Infobip want to extend our holiday wishes to all of our clients, partners and everyone else reading our news.
It has been a great year – one which saw our solutions and services portfolio featured at over 100 events across the globe. The company reached new heights in security standards, rolling out a global, SMS-based 2-factor authentication for messaging apps. We also achieved full USSD coverage in South Africa, and became the first one to offer network initiated enterprise USSD solution in the country.
The launch of ¥Coins presented a revolutionary entrance into Japan by serving as a mobile payments gateway and more other, high-end steps were taken to enhance the quality of services we provide.
Indeed, we certainly have our fair share of positives to build around for next year and all are closely tied with the success of our business partners. However, holidays are also a welcomed opportunity to stop and appreciate the road already travelled - built on solid foundations by one of mobile industry’s core services.
The first ever SMS was sent over 20 years ago, containing Christmas wishes. To this day, it remains the preferred and most trusted cross-platform mobile channel. In 2014, there’s plenty more to come both in SMS-based services, mobile payments and push notifications which, combined, form a powerful mix for any consumer engagement strategy.
Happy holidays from everyone at Infobip!
