Infobip expands US operations with CTIA membership and short code offering

New York, NY-10/7/2018 – Infobip, global communications platform for businesses, has officially joined North America’s wireless communications association CTIA as part of its US expansion. The association’s members include wireless carriers, device manufacturers, suppliers, OTTs and content companies.
Enterprises, financial institutions, and organizations can, through Infobip’s OMNI solution, utilize a multitude of communications channels, such as Voice, E-mail, chat app messages, SMS, RCS and in-app push messages on a single platform.
In joining the CTIA membership, Infobip is also listed as a short code partner where enterprises can, through its 10-digit number system, request a dedicated, memorable number helping to build additional brand recognition. Short codes serve as a customer appreciation and marketing tool where a business can send large numbers of messages at a consistent rate with much higher throughput than long numbers, especially crucial for time-sensitive campaigns or critical alerts.
We truly recognize the strength, presence, and authority CTIA offers to Infobip in the US. It is a crucial step in engaging with the wireless industry in North America, and we believe that Infobip’s international strength and global experience will also bring a wealth of knowledge to CTIA and the industry,
