Infobip Shift 2024: A Record-Breaking Tech Spectacle in Zadar, with Expansion Plans into Asia
Zadar, September 18, 2024 – The latest edition of Infobip Shift, the largest developer conference in this part of Europe, has concluded in Zadar, setting new attendance records. The event welcomed over 5,500 visitors during three days of exciting programs. With 125 speakers—more than ever before—participants enjoyed a wide range of lectures, workshops, and panels on the most pressing topics in the software industry and the world of startups.
The conference kicked off on September 15 with informal events held at three locations across Zadar. Over the following two days, Infobip Shift took over the 15,000 m² of the ŠC Višnjik complex, transforming the sports venue with an impressive production setup.
A Global Gathering of Tech Leaders
Infobip’s co-founder and CTO, Izabel Jelenić, opened the conference, stating:

The conference attracted representatives from over 770 companies. Leading figures from software giants like Microsoft, Google, and AWS, as well as telecommunications powerhouses such as Nokia, Orange, Deutsche Telekom, and Telefónica, shared their expertise. Key players from the Croatian tech scene, including Sofascore, Rimac Automobili, and Reversing Labs, also participated.

The event’s themes spanned artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software development, and engineering team management, spread across six stages. The startup stage featured panel discussions with successful entrepreneurs, professors, and scientists, and innovative startups showcased their ideas to the public and potential investors.
Global Expansion on the Horizon
This year’s event in Zadar marked Infobip’s second conference of 2024, following the American edition in Miami five months earlier. Infobip is already planning a return to the US next year, along with an ambitious expansion to a third continent—Asia.
