Zagreb, June 17, 2025.Infobip Shift Zadar, the largest developers’ conference in Southeast Europe, is returning once again to the Krešimir Ćosić Hall in Višnjik. From September 14 to 16, 2025, Zadar will once again become the center of the global tech community, bringing together leading international technology companies, innovators, and thousands of developers from around the world.

Over the course of three days, around 5,000 participants will have the opportunity to attend talks, panels, workshops, and networking activities focused on the most relevant topics – from artificial intelligence, software development, and cybersecurity to engineering leadership and startup culture. The program features six parallel stages and multiple thematic tracks covering today’s most important software trends.

Three keynote speakers – three visions of the future of technology

This year’s edition once again brings top names from the global IT industry. Among them is Matt Biilmann Christensen, co-founder and CEO of Netlify – a platform leading the development of modern web applications and serving more than one billion unique monthly visitors. Matt is one of the world’s leading advocates of the new concept of Agent Experience (AX), which enables collaboration between developers and AI agents in building software.

Biilmann emphasizes:“Agent Experience will become just as important in the future as User Experience (UX) has been over the past decades.”

According to him, the rise of artificial intelligence capable of writing code represents a moment comparable to Gutenberg’s printing press – a technology that once made previously exclusive knowledge accessible to everyone.

Just as literacy transformed society, software literacy will experience explosive growth because artificial intelligence removes technical barriers. From a world where only a few people could develop software, we are moving toward a world where almost anyone will be able to do it.”

Matt Biilmann Christensen

Co-founder and CEO, Netlify

Joining him on the Shift stage is Medhat Dawoud, a senior software engineer at Miro – a global platform for online collaboration and visual project management used by more than 60 million users worldwide.

The third speaker is Debbie O’Brien, a long-time manager at Microsoft specializing in developer tools. O’Brien, who is also returning to Shift, is well known in the developer community for her work on the Playwright testing framework and other tools that significantly impact developers’ daily work.

The audience asked for them – they are coming back

In addition to new content and speakers, Shift will once again host some of the most recognizable names who won over audiences at previous editions. Returning to the stage are Kristijan “Kitze” Ristovski, founder of Sizzy and for years the most beloved speaker among the Shift audience; Vitaly Friedman, editor-in-chief of Smashing Magazine and a prominent figure in the global front-end community; and Harry Roberts, an internationally recognized web performance expert and creator of CSS Wizardry.

Startup program, EXPO zone, and after-parties

Special attention will once again be drawn to the Startup Tribe stage, featuring panels with investors and pitching competitions for young tech companies. In addition, the EXPO hall will showcase the latest solutions from leading tech companies, while numerous side events, after-parties, and networking activities promise an unforgettable experience for all participants both on and off the stage.
