Osijek, 12 March 2026 – Global cloud communications platform Infobip, which is celebrating 20 years of operations this year, has opened a new office in Osijek, further strengthening its engineering centre in Slavonia. The new workspace, located in Eurodom, confirms the company’s long-term commitment to developing local talent and supporting the continued growth of the region’s technology community. Infobip opened its first office in Osijek in 2022, and today employs 44 experts in the city who work on developing AI solutions for the global market.

Osijek has been a strategic location for the development of our engineering teams from the very beginning. In a short time, we have built an outstanding team that develops solutions for the global market, and we are especially proud that this strong technology story is growing right in the heart of Slavonia. At a time when Infobip is further strengthening its strategic focus on the development of artificial intelligence, centres like this allow us to connect local talent with global innovation and jointly develop technologies that shape the future of communication.”

Izabel Jelenić

Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Infobip

The opening of the new office in Osijek was also attended by representatives of the local educational community, as well as Osijek-Baranja County Prefect Nataša Tramišak and the Mayor of Osijek, Ivan Radić.

I congratulate Infobip on the opening of its new office in Osijek. This sends an important message that Osijek is increasingly becoming a centre of knowledge, innovation, and new technologies – a city that offers young people opportunities for quality development and employment. It is especially encouraging that this is a global company that now has more than 40 employees in Osijek, having started its development in 2022 in the BIOS Business Incubator with just one employee. The city’s development is also visible in the numbers – since 2021, Osijek has gained 4,500 additional jobs, while unemployment has fallen by 40 percent. The City of Osijek will continue to be a strong partner to entrepreneurs and will keep investing in the development of the IT sector and business zones.”

Ivan Radić

Mayor of Osijek

Investments by technology companies in regional centres of excellence play an important role in the balanced development of the economy and industry, while at the same time creating new opportunities for educating young professionals at a time when artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly important. We are especially pleased that Infobip recognizes the potential of Osijek and our county and contributes to the further development of the business and innovation ecosystem.”

Osijek-Baranja County Prefect

Over two decades, Infobip has grown into Croatia’s first unicorn and one of the leading technology hubs in the region, and today it actively shapes the future of cloud and AI communications, including the recently introduced AgentOS, an AI platform for autonomous management of customer interactions and hyper-personalization.
