Infobip Supports Bangladesh Expansion with Local Office

Opening the Dhaka office will bring better service to enterprise clients and mobile operator partners in Bangladesh

LONDON, DHAKA, 05 February 2017 – Cloud communications provider Infobip has announced the opening of its office in Dhaka, Bangladesh as part of increasing its local footprint and better serving the dynamic mobile services market in Bangladesh.

Building on Infobip’s extensive experience in the mobile wholesale market in Bangladesh, combined with global expertise in enterprise and mobile operator verticals, the Dhaka office will enable Infobip to shift market focus and employ a more active approach to the market.

The newly-opened Dhaka office will be mainly staffed by local sales and account managers, as well as specialized support and integration engineers to power operator partnerships and datacenter installations in Bangladesh.

– Bangladesh is a major mobile market with many opportunities for enterprises, e-commerce firms and developers, we’re looking forward to helping them scale and expand their mobile services nationally and internationally, as well as working with mobile operators on introducing new A2P SMS-based monetization opportunities – said Mr. Matija Razem, VP Business Development at Infobip. 

Infobip has been present in the country for over 5 years and has carved out a significant market share through a cooperation with strategic local partner Wintel, a partnership that continues to a mutual satisfaction.

The Dhaka office opening ceremony will take place on 5 February 2017 at 13:00 at Suite 7D, Hashim Tower (Level-7), 205/1, Gulshan Tejgaon Link Road, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The company’s local operations in APAC, started in 2010, today span Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea, Vietnam, Philippines, China, Taiwan, Japan, and India, with clients in the enterprise, banking, OTT, mobile and tech segments.
