Mambu, a Germany-based cloud platform used by alternative financial organisations, has recently integrated our global SMS messaging capability into their SaaS, which enables micro-finance providers in 30 countries to manage their essential banking services. Their newest software release Mambu 3.6 brings major new core features, improved security and Infobip SMS API integration

By registering with Infobip in only a few simple steps, international financial innovators that use Mambu can send real-time customer service notifications via SMS, and provide an additional layer of protection for their online accounts by performing SMS-based 2-factor authentication. Mambu clients can also send manual and automated SMS alerts and reminders, using all the advantages of Infobip’s coverage of 190 countries, deep knowledge of telecoms, and 24/7 support.

Established in 2011 in Berlin, Mambu enables innovative banking providers to rapidly create, launch and service loan and deposit products through its agile, flexible and affordable cloud banking platform. An alternative to legacy core banking software, Mambu accelerates time to market for new consumer and SME banking products via innovative channels, at a fraction of the cost. The company works with more than 100 institutions in 30 countries worldwide, servicing a portfolio of more than a million accounts. Mambu clients range from microfinance organizations to financial innovators and digital banking disruptors seeking to extend banking services to underserved markets around the world.

Helping our customers better reach, inform and advice their clients is a critical value-add to their business that helps them differentiate themselves in their market. Whether they want to notify business clients in real-time about the state of their loan application, to inform individuals when a repayment is coming due, use SMS and email for purely digital transaction receipts or even just saying happy birthday – helping institutions of any size to rethink their client relationships leveraging technology is an important part of why Mambu is so critical to their business.
