Additionally, My Account is now Security:

Viber

Viber Business Messages is now available over API

Viber Business Messages is now available over API. Use the API to send conversational, promotional, and transactional messages to end users. For more information, refer to the Business Messages API documentation (opens in a new tab).

Image message type is available in Broadcast and Moments (FLOW)

Broadcast and Moments (FLOW) now support Image message type for Viber.

WhatsApp

Obtain click-to-WhatsApp ad information

When an end user clicks an ad that contains a click-to-WhatsApp button and sends a message to your business, you receive information about the ad along with the message.

Zalo

Send multiple ZNS template messages in a request

You can now send multiple Zalo ZNS template messages in a single request on the Zalo ZNS API.

Conversations

Live Chat multithreading support

You can open multiple chats in Live Chat to cover different topics simultaneously. There are no limitations in how many chats you can open at the same time, all the while being shown the history of your previous chats.

Digital channels

Support for tables in Email

Email improvements now bring the possibility to create tables for new email messages, as well as to receive/read tables for incoming messages. Agents can use tables in templates and share organized content with the customers.

Knowledge Base

Event-triggered email notifications

Knowledge Base now offers the ability to watch/follow any changes within your preferred articles so you can always stay up-to-date. A notification email will be sent to you whenever there is a change in the article(s) you are following (from Title edited, Content edited, Article published/unpublished/deleted, New comment, etc.).

Mobile App Messaging

We have introduced a number of predefined templates to assist you as you build out your mobile communication campaigns in Flow.

Start building your Flow with one of the following templates and adapt it to your needs to ensure that your users benefit from mobile interaction with your product or service from the beginning.

The templates cover sending a welcome message to new users, sending a login/authorization reminder for mobile users, engaging new mobile users and engaging inactive mobile users.

Voice and Video

Calls

NEW

We are introducing a brand new feature in our Voice and Video portfolio: Calls API! With Calls API you'll be able to leverage this feature to create any application and handle inbound and outbound calls.

There are a lot of technical concepts around Calls API and we have tried to explain them all in our product documentation so visit our docs to have a read, and, hopefully, understand this concept a bit better! As always, feel free to leave feedback if there is areas for improvement, as we are constantly trying to improve our documentation.

Email

Automatic domain unblocking

When a domain is blocked because it has reached a bounce rate higher then 5% of traffic, now it will be automatically enabled 24 hours after being blocked. Previously, domains could only be enabled manually by a support agent.

Notifications for bounce rates and verifications

Notifications for bounce rates and verifications have been improved. When you receive notifications about blocked domains, you'll be provided with details about the bounce rate percentage, and the date and timestamp of when it was blocked. You'll also be provided with guidance for how to lower your bounce rate. In addition, the block status of the domain is highlighted in red so that it is more visible on the domain list.

SMTP documentation improvements

The SMTP Specification documentation page had been improved with updated regional settings for basic client configuration. It now also includes the detailed steps for testing the SMTP server using Telnet, in addition to Thunderbird.

Geolocation data in performance reports

NEW

Performance reports for email now also record the users' geographical location data, providing more context to marketers around targeted audiences within physical business locations. The geolocation data inserted into the report includes the state, city, and longitude and latitude coordinates.

New API endpoints for domains management

NEW

New API endpoints are exposed for the following operations:

  • Add new domain
  • Get domain details
  • Delete existing domain
  • Update tracking events
  • Get all domains for the account
  • Verify domain
